Pachmarhi
An all-season hill resort,
Pachmarhi nestles in Satpura ranges with its enchanting forest glades, giggling
ravines and fascinating wildlife. It has its archaeological assets too. There
are rock paintings, said to be dating back to thousands of years, in the caves
of Mahadeo hills. Pachmarhi was discovered in 1857 by a Bengali lancer. The British
developed it as a hill resort. The location has been named Priyadarshini Point.
